Dr. Christopher Link
After growing up in Santa Barbara and later moving away to complete his education, Dr. Link states “it has been wonderful to be able to return to the area and serve the community he knows and loves.” After moving back in 2014, Chris says he was “extremely fortunate to be offered a position at the Santa Ynez Tribal Health Clinic (SYTHC), where I have been working since.” Prior to this position, after initially working with adults with severe mental illness, the majority of Dr. Link’s training involved providing services to children, adolescents, and families predominately working in community mental health and medical settings, which includes time at Children’s Hospital of Orange County where he completed both his internship and postdoctoral fellowship. Here at SYTHC, Dr. Link serves clients of all ages with a wide range of presenting issues. Dr. Link also greatly enjoys working with individuals and families from numerous different cultural backgrounds, which includes providing services in Spanish to the monolingual Spanish-speaking population.
