A new resident of the Santa Ynez Valley, PA Carter saw an opportunity to provide increased access to medical care in the community by joining our team in July 2019. PA Carter is a graduate of the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP). After separating from active service with the Army, PA Carter moved to the valley with his wife Cheyenne and three children (ages 8, 3, and 3).
PA Carter grew up outside of Columbus, Ohio and has served in the Army in Alaska, Ohio, Afghanistan, Kansas, Texas, and Georgia. When it was time to finally settle down and plant roots, PA Carter and his family decided to move to the Central Coast in 2018.
“My wife and I decided to move to the valley based on proximity to work and ended up falling in love with the community and plan on raising our kids here.”
In his free time, PA Carter enjoys exploring the Central Coast with his family, riding his bicycle, and cheering for the Cleveland Browns.
PA Alex Le joined the clinic in November 2019 from Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. in San Diego. Alex worked there for the past four years as a Physician Assistant and Advanced Diabetes Manager. With over six years of experience, Alex has a passion for working in community medicine, treating diabetes, and treating hepatitis C. He has earned and maintains the credentials BC-ADM (Board-Certified Advanced Diabetes Management) and CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator).
Alex is also a former military veteran and served six years in United States Army. Alex is a traveler, adventurer, foodie, and photographer. If you don’t see him at the clinic, he is probably out with his Akita dog exploring the beautiful landscapes of the Central Coast.
